Bank holidays move your payday earlier
GOV.UK confirms you might be paid earlier if your normal payment day is a bank holiday — in practice, the last working day before. The amount stays the same, but the gap until your next 4-weekly payment gets longer, so budget for it. See bank holiday payment changes.
